Chinese President Honors Abu-Ghazaleh for Enhancing the Sino-Arab Relations
CAIRO - January 26, 2016 - HE Mr. Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China honored 10 Arab personalities for their role in enhancing the Sino-Arab Relations as a first of its kind Chinese initiative.
The honoring included HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) who was honored in person by the President HE Mr. Xi Jinping in a special ceremony held at the Four Seasons Nile Plaza Hotel in Cairo.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh was honored for his distinguished contribution in enhancing the Sino-Arab relations and for his role in strengthening the ties between China and the Arab countries in the fields of culture, education and economy through TAG-Org's three offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
In addition to TAG-Org's partnership with Confucius Institute in China for teaching Chinese language in the Arab region and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Visa Services-Chinese Visa Section (TAG-Visa) after an outsourcing agreement with the Chinese Embassy in Amman.
TAG-Org is currently working on an agreement with "Chinese" Shenyang University -specialized in teaching languages to establish "Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Center for Teaching Arabic Language in China."
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his pride in meeting the Chinese President stating that relations in all fields are based on language, culture and education.
He added that TAG-Org seeks to continue its efforts in the Sino-Arab cooperation in the fields of education, languages and culture in addition to the stronger economic ties between the two great nations, Chinese and Arabs.
In the field of technology, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh signed an agreement with Huawei Technologies Cooperatief/Jordan to join their forces for future cooperation in business opportunities in the fields of Information and Technology Communication in addition to others.
