Arab Model Schools Students Visit TAG- Confucius Institute  

AMMAN – May 2, 2016 - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute (TAG-Confucius), the official testing center for China's HSK examinations (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) hosted a group of students from the Arab Model Schools as part of the Institute’s strategy to introduce and spread the Chinese culture, language and traditions among school students.

During the visit, the students attended several lectures on Chinese culture, civilization, language and traditions, given by managers of the Institute, in addition to participation in several cultural activities such as green tea serving traditions, the art of writing and traditional Chinese costumes.

TAG Confucius Dean Ms. Yang Song Fan and Professor Ms. Lina Odeh focused on the importance of this visit in increasing student awareness of the Chinese culture, as being part of their studies with emphasis on the commitment of Arab Model Schools to enhance this knowledge through cooperation with TAG-Confucius Institute.

TAG-Confucius Institute:

The Institute has been established since September 2008 to introduce Chinese language and culture, and to achieve greater understanding between Arab and Chinese cultures. This Initiative is based on the cooperation agreement between TAG- ORG and Confucius Institute in China.
