TAG-Confucius Institute Holds the Last Chinese Proficiency Test of 2021

On December 11, TAG-Confucius Institute (TAG-CI) successfully held the last Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK & HSKK test) of 2021, covering HSK Level 2-6, HSKK basic level and intermediate level. A total of 25 students took the test.
Under the pandemic situation, the test was held online at home. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the test, TAG-CI held a meeting before the test to arrange the work related to the test.  The teachers of TAG-CI attended the training meeting on test affairs held by Chinese Testing International Co. Ltd. (CTI) and once again became familiar with the test process, test management system, test requirements, etc. The teachers set up WeChat or WhatsApp groups for the test takers, guided them to download and install the test APP and Zoom software, helped them get familiar with the test system and requirements, organized mock tests, answered their questions and solved problems.
On the day of the test, the teachers arrived at TAG-CI one and a half hours in advance, in strict accordance with the test requirements, started Zoom meeting, checked the students’ test environment, verified their identity, guided them to log in to the test system and download the test paper. During the test, the teachers supervised the students through Zoom, monitored their answering situation through the test management system, and solved immediately the problems of the students.
After the test, the teachers filled in the forms of test report and Chinese Director Yang Songfang, the chief invigilator, sent them to CTI together with the links of invigilation videos. The students expressed their sincere thanks to the teachers for their patient guidance and help. With the remote guidance and help of the technical teachers of CTI, the joint efforts of the teachers of TAG-CI, and the close cooperation of the students, the last Chinese Proficiency Test of TAG-CI in 2021 was successfully completed. 
TAG-CI holds many Chinese Proficiency Tests each year to meet the needs of Jordanian students for completing their studies, applying for scholarships, and finding jobs and so on. Under the more severe COVID-19 pandemic situation, considering the safety and health of the teachers and students, TAG-CI will hold the first Chinese Proficiency Test online at home in the New Year on February 27, 2022. TAG-CI will continue to provide high-quality Chinese Proficiency Test services for Jordanian students and promote the development of Chinese education in Jordan.
