TAG-Confucius and the Chinese Embassy in Amman Hold the 6th Great Wall Language Competition

AMMAN --- May 2015 ---- Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute (TAG-Confucius), in cooperation with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Jordan, held the 6th Great Wall Language Competition at Confucius Institute in Philadelphia University.

Five students from TAG-Confucius participated in the competition that consisted of exams in pronunciation, reading, and conversation. The winners were honored during the ceremony.
Prof. Yang Songfang, Dean of TAG-Confucius, expressed satisfaction at the progress the students have achieved over the years, as four students were qualified to the final competition that is to be held on May 21th, 2015.

It is noteworthy that TAG-Confucius witnesses an increasing trend for learning Chinese among businessmen, students, and youth. TAG-Confucius is keen to provide all facilities that promote learning the language through adequate learning tools.
