TAG-Confucius Participates in the Festival of Chinese Cultural Day at Amman Academy School

 

 

AMMAN - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute (TAG-Confucius), the first official Institute accredited by the Chinese Government and the Department of Hanban to teach Chinese language, participated in Chinese Cultural Day festival held at Amman Academy School. 

 

The two-day ceremony included cultural and educational activities, such as the art of Chinese writing, traditional Chinese fashions, traditional Chinese games, Chinese tea ceremony, tai-ji Chinese martial art in addition to Chinese folkloric dancing.

 

During the festival, the participants and students had the opportunity to participate in other activities mainly the Chinese calligraphy, paper cutting skills, and traditional Chinese costumes.

 

Meanwhile, TAG-Confucius staff briefed the participants on China’s history and culture.

 

Mr. Munther Al Fahoum, Director General of Amman Academy School, expressed his gratitude to the Institute highlighting its efforts in promoting education and culture, and its participation in such activities.
