A Scholarship Workshop at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute 

 

AMMAN----February 26, 2018- TAG-CI organized a workshop for students applying for scholarships to study in China. The scholarships are offered by Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban for 20 students studying Chinese language in Jordan. 

Dr. Yang Songfang, the Chinese Director of TAG-CI, welcomed the students and gave an informational presentation for the first thirty minutes. The remaining hour and a half was devoted to one-on-one help and questions with the assistance of TAG-CI Chinese teachers.

It’s worth mentioning that TAG-CI has an agreement with Shenyang Normal University as its Chinese partner university. Shenyang Normal University lies in Shenyang city, Liaoning province. The university was established in 1951, one of the first two accredited teaching universities in China's Northeast Region.

It is a multi-discipline university consisting of eight main fields of study: philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, physical science, technology, and administrative science.
