During ASCA Annual Meeting Abu-Ghazaleh Announces the Establishment of Professional Training Centers in South Jordan, Jerusalem and Gaza
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh revealed the intention of the Society to open training centers saying: "We believe that the best education is a human right for everybody all over the world. We endeavor through our various training programs to outreach all areas, and we consider opening new branches in Ma'an, Tafeileh, Aqaba, Jerusalem and Gaza."
AMMAN------June 10, 2013------- The Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA-Jordan) General Assembly held its annual meeting at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University (TAGIUNI) in the presence of ASCA President HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and members of the Board of Directors.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh revealed the intention of the Society to open training centers saying: "We believe that the best education is a human right for everybody all over the world. We endeavor through our various training programs to outreach all areas, and we are deliberating about opening new branches in Ma'an, Tafeileh, Aqaba, Jerusalem and Gaza."
The General Assembly discussed the Society's activities and achievements in 2012, including training, capacity building, international agreements to translate the professional publications, and the cooperation with the Jordanian universities and concerned parties to create more awareness and introduce the Society and its activities. ASCA President, Board of Directors Members, and the General Assembly applauded the achievements of ASCA.
The attendees decided to issue electronic book about ASCA's work during the year 2012, distribute it to the professional members and bodies and interested parties, and post it on ASCA's website.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his appreciation for all members and guests for their effective participation during the past year.
The Arab Society of Certified Accountants (Jordan) was established in 1986 as a not-for-profit professional accounting organization of the elite of Arab accountants. ASCA (Jordan) aims at maintaining professional independence of accountants, ensuring their protection and applying professional supervision standards as a means to promote accounting and auditing profession.
