TAG-Confucius Participates in Jubilee School's Cultural Day
A host of students and visitors attended the event where they learned more about Chinese language and the Chinese culture
AMMAN -------April 25, 2013------ Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute (TAG-Confucius), the official testing center for China's HSK examinations (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi), participated in the Cultural Day of the Jubilee School held under the patronage of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture, Mr. Mamoun Talhouni.
A host of students and visitors attended the event where they learned more about Chinese language and the Chinese culture from TAG- Confucius representatives.
Ms. Suha Joaneh, School's principal highlighted the role played by TAG-Confucius in spreading the Chinese language among students calling it a very "successful cultural contribution."
Meanwhile, TAG-Confucius Dean Mr. Zhang Chengyu said that the Center is working on developing more programs especially for students.
About TAG- Confucius
Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute was established in September 2008 to promote the Chinese language and culture, in order to reach a better mutual understanding between Arab and Chinese cultures. This is one-of-a-kind initiative based on the cooperation agreement between Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) and the Confucius Institute in China. The Institute was named after Confucius, the world-renowned great thinker, educator and philosopher in Chinese history. Confucius' thoughts have influenced China and other areas in the world for nearly 2000 years.
