ASCA and Queen Rania Center Organize a course in Financial Analysis
The course program included a series of lectures regarding the concept of financial analysis and its types
IRBID-----November 27, 2012------ The Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA) organized in its branch at Queen Rania Center for Jordanian Studies and Community Service at Yarmouk University training course in Financial Analysis with the participation of students representing various fields at the University.
The course program included a series of lectures regarding the concept of financial analysis and its types, the concept of an entity's financial statements, financing sources, utilization of resources, financial analysis of sources and uses of resources in addition to certain terminologies in asset management, long-term analysis of financial position and valuation of financial investments.
Dr. Ziyad Al Kurdi, vice president of Al Yarmouk University stressed on the importance of holding such courses which come in consistence with the Center's goals and mission saying that these courses can develop the skills of students and guide them to the right direction.
ASCA branch intends, in cooperation with Al Yarmouk University, to conduct specialized courses that aim at developing the capabilities and skills of the students of economics and management sciences as well as those working in banking and financial institutions, and communicating the information related to the latest developments in local and international markets
