Dr. Talal Abu–Ghazaleh and TAG-Confucius Institute Participate in Reception Celebrating the 99th Anniversary of the Founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army

On July 22, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Jordan hosted a reception celebrating the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. More than 260 guests attended the reception, including former Jordanian Prime Minister Omar Razzaz, Brigadier General Hamouri, Director of the Royal Medical Services of the Jordanian Armed Forces, Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), members of the Jordanian Senate and House of Representatives, representatives from the military, police and government departments, friends from various sectors of society, as well as heads of diplomatic missions and military attachés accredited to Jordan. Chinese Ambassador to Jordan Mr. Guo Wei attended the reception together with diplomats from the Embassy.
In his remarks, Senior Colonel Li Pengfei, Defense Attaché of the Chinese Embassy in Jordan, said that the Chinese People’s Liberation Army has always been a heroic force that the Communist Party of China and the Chinese people can fully trust. He noted that Chinese modernization is modernization pursued along the path of peaceful development, and that China will always be a force for peace, stability and progress in the world.
The guests congratulated China on its achievements in national development and the building of its armed forces. They also received Arabic-language editions of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China and other publications and informational materials.
