TAG-Confucius Institute Organizes 2026 “Chinese Bridge” Summer Camp to China
From July 1 to 14, TAG-Confucius Institute successfully organized the 2026 “Chinese Bridge” Summer Camp to China. The event was sponsored by Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and hosted by Shenyang Normal University, with a total of 21 students participating. Upon arrival at Shenyang Normal University, the Jordanian summer campers were merged with Lebanese summer campers into one group to jointly embark on a wonderful journey in China.
The summer camp students visited two cities, Shenyang and Dalian, with a rich and diverse range of activities.
In the Chinese language classes, the students actively participated in interactive sessions and delivered impressive presentations showcasing their learning achievements.
During cultural sessions, the participants experienced Peking opera, tea ceremony, traditional Chinese painting, sugar painting, martial arts, and other activities, gaining a deep appreciation for the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture.
In the study tour activities, the students visited Liaoning Paleontological Museum, Liaoning Science and Technology Museum, and Shenyang Imperial Palace, experiencing the deep accumulation of Chinese civilization and the pulse of contemporary development at the intersection of history and technology. They also ventured into “Rice Dream Space” to get an up-close look at the vibrant vitality of modern Chinese agriculture. Walking into bustling commercial districts, they engaged in friendly conversations with locals and truly felt the warmth and hospitality of the Chinese people..jpg)
During the summer camp, the group also took a high-speed train to China’s “romantic city”, the beautiful coastal city of Dalian. Amidst the blue sea and sky, they further experienced the modern vitality and economic and social development achievements of Chinese cities, while also appreciating the unique natural and cultural charm of this northern pearl.
In their spare time, many students took the initiative to explore the cities on their own, accumulating precious memories of their own. During their time in China, they also made friends from different countries, building genuine friendships through mutual exchange.
This summer camp is not only an important window for understanding China, but also a bridge connecting hearts and fostering communication. Their gains, friendships, and understanding from this journey will extend far beyond this summer and continue to accompany them in the years to come. It is hoped that they will bring back their experiences and insights from China to share with their families and friends, so that more people can come to know a real, multidimensional, and lovable China.
