TAG-Confucius Institute Successfully Holds Its First CTC Test

On April 18, TAG-Confucius Institute (TAG-CI) successfully held the Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (CTC) written test (Elementary Level). This marks its first time serving as an officially authorized test center, signifying a key step forward in strengthening Chinese language testing service and supporting the professional development of Chinese language teachers.
As a first-time organizer, TAG-CI made thorough preparations. The invigilators completed two training sessions organized by Chinese Testing International (CTI), and a coordination meeting was held to streamline procedures, clarify responsibilities, and ensure effective test room management and emergency response. The test environment and admission procedures were also optimized to guarantee smooth implementation.
On the test day, operations were orderly and well-managed. The candidates completed identity checks and entered the test room in an organized manner. The invigilators conducted their duties with fairness and professionalism, while the candidates demonstrated strong competence and focus. The test proceeded smoothly.
After the test, the materials were properly handled and returned to CTI, and the candidates expressed high satisfaction with the organization and professionalism of the test team.
CTC test is widely recognized as an important benchmark in international Chinese language education. Its successful administration marks a significant milestone for TAG-CI. Looking ahead, TAG-CI will further integrate teaching and testing, supporting local Chinese language teachers through training programs and academic workshops, and contributing to the high-quality development of Chinese language education in Jordan.

Notably, the next CTC written test (Elementary Level) at TAG-CI will be held on June 27, 2026. Registration will be open from May 19 to May 28. All eligible candidates are warmly welcome to register and participate.
