Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute Meets with the Jordanian International School 

On 30th March 2026, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute held a meeting with the administration of the International Jordanian School to explore opportunities for introducing Chinese language education to its students.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Hanaa Abu Rumman, Principal of the International Jordanian School, along with representatives from the Institute, including Mr. Mamoun Abu Al-Sabah, the Executive Director, Chinese Dean Ms. Yang Songfang and Deputy Manager Ms. Randa Al-Yabrodi.
During the meeting, both parties discussed potential collaboration in developing a structured Chinese language program tailored to students across different grade levels. The discussions also covered curriculum content, the needs of the Chinese teachers at the school, and the incorporation of cultural activities aimed at enhancing students’ understanding of the Chinese language and culture.
Representatives of the Institute emphasized the growing global importance of the Chinese language and highlighted the benefits of equipping students with multilingual skills that support their academic and professional futures.
Dr. Hana Abu Rumman praised the effective role of the Institute in teaching the Chinese language, noting that, as the first institute specializing in Chinese language education in Jordan, the school is highly interested in establishing cooperation. She expressed strong confidence in the Institute’s academic staff and its management, emphasizing the school’s eagerness to build a successful and sustainable partnership.
This meeting marks a significant step toward establishing a strategic partnership between the two institutions, reflecting a shared commitment to educational excellence and global engagement.
