Chinese Cultural Center Celebrate the Spring Festival and
welcoming the month of Ramadan
Chinese Halal Food Exhibition"

On February 20, the Chinese Halal Food Expo was held at the Chinese Cultural Center in Amman. The event attracted the attention and participation of many foodies, guests and media, who enjoyed the unique charm of Chinese halal food.

At five o'clock in the evening, the exhibition officially opened. Ms. Shi Wei, Cultural Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Jordan and Director of the Chinese Cultural Center in Amman, delivered an opening remark, saying that the Spring Festival symbolizes reunion and hope, while the month of Ramadan reflects respect and piety.
Just as the Silk Road linked Chinese and Arab civilizations, the "Silk Road through Food - Chinese Halal Food Exhibition" is also a point of cultural encounter and interaction.
After that, the Assistant Director of the Center, Mr. Ahmed Al-Aqrabawi, gave a brief overview of the history and development of halal food in China, noting that there are ten Chinese nationalities out of 56 nationalities whose religion is Islam, and Beijing has a prominent landmark known as "New Jie Street", which is famous for its halal food.

During the exhibition, a variety of delicious halal food attracted more than 350 visitors.
