TAG-Confucius Institute Holds Successfully Chinese Proficiency Test

On October 16, TAG-Confucius Institute (TAG-CI) held successfully Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), including HSK Level 1-6 and oral test of basic, intermediate and advanced levels. A total of 33 candidates sat for the test.

The test was an in-person test in view of the actual needs of the candidates after the pandemic situation in Jordan was eased. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the test, TAG-CI held a meeting on test affairs before the test.

 Dr. Yang Songfang, Chinese Director of TAG-CI, stressed the importance of pandemic prevention and made preparations in all aspects, led the teachers to familiarize with the test procedures and assigned tasks of training for the candidates. The teachers conducted the training one week before the test, including the test requirements, the way of filling the answer sheet and standard answering, etc.

During the test, the teachers strictly implemented the test rules and procedures, and instructed the candidates to complete the answers of each part according to the time limit. The candidates answered carefully and the test room was in order.

After the test, the teachers sorted out the test materials according to the regulations. The candidates expressed their gratitude to TAG-CI for organizing the test and the teachers for their patient training before the test. They hoped that they could achieve good results and apply for scholarships to study in China next year. TAG-CI sent relevant test materials to Chinese Testing International (CTI) as required. 

The last test of the year 2022 will be held on December 4. 

TAG-CI has always taken Chinese Proficiency Test as one of the key tasks of the Institute, providing high-quality test services for candidates and promoting teaching and learning through test, which has effectively promoted the development of Chinese education in Jordan.
