Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK Test)


        Chinese Proficiency Test, also called HSK test, is a standard international test developed and organized by Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban China, testing mainly the non-native students’ communicative competence in Chinese in life, study and work. HSK test includes written test and oral test that are independent respectively. The written HSK test includes HSK1, HSK2, HSK3, HSK4, HSK5 and HSK6; the oral HSK test is also called HSKK, consisting of HSKK (basic), HSKK (intermediate) and HSKK (advanced).
        Chinese proficiency test also includes YCT test. In order to encourage non-native primary and secondary students to learn Chinese and develop and improve their Chinese competence, Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban developed YCT test on the basis of fully investigating actual overseas Chinese teaching situation. YCT test is a standard international Chinese proficiency test for primary and secondary students whose native language is not Chinese, testing their Chinese competence in daily life and study. YCT test includes written test and oral test that are independent respectively. The written test consists of YCT1, YCT2, YCT3 and YCT4; the oral test consists of YCT (basic) and YCT (intermediate).
        In addition, Chinese proficiency test also includes BCT test (Business Chinese Test), testing businessmen’s Chinese proficiency, which consists of BCT (A), BCT (B) and BCT (speaking) that are independent respectively.

Note: the HSK Exam Score is a must to apply for the Scholarship.
