The lecture which witnessed to be very popular aimed to help people understand the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine through explaining what acupuncture is, the benefit of acupuncture in treating various diseases, and how it works
AMMAN -----June 24, 2013------ Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute (TAG-Confucius), the official testing center for China's HSK examinations (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) organized a lecture on Acupuncture featuring Dr. Haitham Abdul Kareem Asfour, Acupuncture specialist.
The lecture which witnessed to be very popular aimed to help people understand the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine through explaining what acupuncture is, the benefit of acupuncture in treating various diseases, and how it works.
Attendees had the opportunity to try Acupuncture and understand more this Chinese way of treating several diseases.
TAG-Confucius Training Officer Ms Randa Al- Yabroudi said:" This unique lecture is part of TAG-Confucius list of activities to introduce more about the Chinese culture and tradition. We are happy that attendees enjoyed this activity and we promise to have another lecture on the same subject based upon the request of people who are interested in Acupuncture."
The lecture was attended by TAG-Confucius Dean Mr. Zhang Chengyu and a host of students and interested individuals.
