TAG-Confucius Institute Wins Third Prize in “CI Moments” Global Short Video Contest

On September 25, Chinese International Education Foundation (CIEF) announced the results of the 5th “CI Moments” Global Short Video Contest. Among 616 submissions from 143 Confucius Institutes in 84 countries, My Three Years in Jordan, produced by TAG-Confucius Institute (TAG-CI), stood out and won the Third Prize.
The video traces the three-year journey of Ms. Sheng Guannan during her work and life at TAG-CI. It highlights her dedicated classroom teaching, active promotion of Chinese language and culture in local schools and enterprises, organization of diverse cultural events, and participation in major exchange programs between China and Jordan.
From personal growth to perseverance and dedication behind each achievement, the video portrays not only the responsibility and passion of a Chinese language teacher, but also tells a vivid story of cultural dialogue between China and the Arab world.
Over these three years, Ms. Sheng has gained not only professional experience and accomplishments, but also profound intercultural understanding and heartfelt friendships.
For her, it was a time of experiencing the power of language and the warmth of cultural exchange. This journey at TAG-CI will remain a lasting inspiration in her heart.
Heartfelt and touching, the video reflects both the dedication of a young Chinese teacher abroad and the deep bonds of friendship and exchange between China and Jordan.
