Chinese Director of TAG-Confucius Institute Invited to Attend International Week of Al Hussein Technical University
On November 11, Dr. Yang Songfang, Chinese Director of TAG-Confucius Institute (TAG-CI), and Mr. Zhao Xiaoqiang, Cultural Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Jordan and Director of China Cultural Centre in Amman, were invited to attend the opening ceremony and related activities of the International Week of Al Hussein Technical University.
 The International Week featured a series of lectures and cultural experience activities provided by representative institutions from Jordan, China, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, and other countries. More than 300 people, including University President Dr. Ismael Hinti, Vice President Dr. Lutfi Al-Sharif, as well as faculty and students, participated in the event.
During the first lecture of the International Week, Dr. Yang Songfang systematically introduced TAG-CI’s Chinese language teaching program, cultural events, HSK test, International Chinese Language Teachers’ Scholarship, “Chinese Bridge” competition, Summer Camp to China, and Educators Delegation to China. 
She also provided detailed explanations for the students’ questions, effectively sparking their interest in learning Chinese and understanding Chinese culture.
During the event, accompanied by Dr. Qutaiba Al-Bluwi, Dean of the School of Computer and Information Technology, Dr. Yang and Mr. Zhao visited the university’s smart education center, where they gained an in-depth understanding of the latest achievements in international cooperation and smart education. 
The university expressed its expectation for future practical cooperation with Chinese universities or enterprises in related fields.
