TAG-Confucius Participates in Jubilee School Cultural Day
AMMAN, March 26, 2015 – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute (TAG-Confucius) has participated in Jubilee School cultural day for the fifth consecutive year attended by Mr. Araz Mahserejian, Executive Director of the Institute; Mrs. Yang Sung Fi, Dean of Institute, faculty and adiminstration.
TAG-Confucius’ booth witnessed attendance of host of students and visitors interested in Chinese culture. TAG-Confucius representatives gave an introductuion about the cultural and educational activities held by TAG-Confucius, in addition to a presentation about the culture and history of China.
In turn, Ms. Suha Joaneh, Principal of the School, highlighted the role played by TAG-Confucius in the success of the cultural day and its role in teaching the Chinese language and promoting the Chinese culture and civilization.
At the end of the day, TAG-Confucius was honored with the School’s trophy in recognition of its role.
Talal Abu-Ghazaleh - Confucius
Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute was established in September 2008 to promote the Chinese language and culture, in order to reach a better mutual understanding between Arab and Chinese cultures. This is one-of-a-kind initiative based on the cooperation agreement between Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) and the Confucius Institute in China. The Institute was named after Confucius, the world-renowned great thinker, educator and philosopher in Chinese history. Confucius' thoughts have influenced China and other areas in the world for nearly 2000 years.
