TAG-Confucius Organizes Workshop on Skills and Arts of Chinese Cuisine
AMMAN-----July 4, 2013------ Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute (TAG-Confucius), the official testing center for China's HSK examinations (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) organized a workshop on the skills and arts of Chinese cuisine within the cultural activities held by Institute on regular basis.
The workshop included the preparation of one of the well-known plates in the northern area of China, prepared by members of the Institute.
Many people who attended the event expressed their admiration and love to the Chinese cuisine which includes healthy food ingredients in addition to their special ways of cooking.
This event is one of the cultural activities with a view to promote the Chinese civilization, arts and language in the Kingdom.
About TAG- Confucius
Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute was established in September 2008 to promote the Chinese language and culture, in order to reach a better mutual Understanding between Arab and Chinese cultures. This is one-of-a-kind initiative based on the cooperation agreement between Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) and the Confucius Institute in China. The Institute was named after Confucius, the world-renowned great thinker, educator and philosopher in Chinese history. Confucius' thoughts have influenced China and other areas in the world for nearly 2000 years.
