Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Minister Marwan Juma visited this week Talal Abu Ghazaleh Knowledge Society (TAG-Knowledge) headquarters and stressed the need to open more branches to accommodate the world of students.


The delegation was received by Luay Abu-Ghazaleh, the vice chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organisation (TAG-Org) and Tarek Hamad, the executive director of TAG-Knowledge, who briefed the delegation on the role of TAG-Knowledge in enhancing the skills and experience of students through online research and studies in addition to professional training, as well as fostering their sense of social responsibility.

 
The minister emphasised the significance of having such societies, which contribute to the students’ development and expand their options for more opportunities when they graduate.

 
“There is no doubt that TAG-Knowledge has already opened the door to more opportunities for students thus, creating a new and ambitious generation to serve their society,” he said.

 
The minister suggested setting plans for training courses that will cover information technology and other key issues and offered to take part in one of these courses in order to spread awareness. Abu Ghazaleh welcomed the minister and highlighted the role of TAG-Knowledge in serving the educational sector in the Kingdom.
